VANCOUVER SERVICE

NAME OF STEAMSHIP LINE (THE SUN'S Parliamentary Reporter) PARLIAMENT BLDGS., Wed. Answering a question by Mr. W. J. Broadfoot (Waitomo), who wanted to know if, when the subsidy paid by the Dominion toward the Vancouver service was renewed, would the name of New Zealand be embodied in the name of the line, e,g., Canada, New Zealand, Australia. The Postmaster-General, the Hon. J. B. Donald, said that it had so far not been possible to arrange for the contractors’ name of the line to be altered to include New Zealand. The matter will have further consideration before a new contract is entered into.
