FRANKTON LIBRARY’S DECISION lFrom Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, Wednesday. Remarque’s war book, “All Quiet on the Western Front.” will be admitted to the shelves of the Frankton Library. “We feel that the public should be the judge and we do not like the idea of setting ourselves up as arbiters of public morals,” said Mr. B. It is understood that the book w I! bo circulated in the Hamilton Library “with certain restrictions.” It is believed this means that the volume will be issued only to men. There are already over 300 names on the ‘waiting list” of the library. Circula tion of the book is also be in* permitted at Ngaruawahia.
