CASES AT WELLINGTON Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. Walter Whitehouse, aged 59, a clerk, was remanded at the Wellington Magistrate’s Court today on a charge of failing to account for £658 to his employers, the Te Aro Loan and. Discount and Investment Co. Bail was allowed. Prisoners sentenced by the Chief Justice included: Francis Mur row, aged 51, for breaking and entering and theft, 12 months’ reformative detention. John Joseph McClintock, aged 43, labourer, for breaking and entering with intent to commit a crime, three years with hard labour. George Herbert Whitfield, farm labourer, for bigamy, two years’ imprisonment with hard labour. Darrell Henry Barnaby, aged 26, for breaking and entering and theft, and for theft, two years with hard labour, cumulative on the sentence already being served.
