EMPIRE’S SHARE OF COST IS £263,720 British Official Wireless RUGBY, Monday. In the House of Commons today theSecretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Arthur Henderson, said the contribution payable by the British Government to the League of Nations, including the International Labour Organisation, in 1929, would be <£IOS,OOO. The contribution of the British Empire would be £263,720. The percentage of the League’s expenses payable by the British Government was 10.65 per cent., and by the Empire 26.2 per cent.
