Mr. D. G. Riddiford, of Hastings, is visiting Auckland. lie is staying at the Grand Hotel. The Hon. W. Stewart and the Hon. J. Garland. M.L*.C.’s, left by the limited express last evening for Wellington. Mr. H. F. von liaast, of Wellington, is visiting Auckland and Is staying with Professor R. M. Algie. Mr. Norman Heath, Consul for Latvia, returned from the South by the Limited this morning. Mr. R. P- M. Manning, who has been visiting Christchurch, returned to Auckland by this morning’s Limited. Judge McCormick, of the Native •Land Court, was a passenger for Wellington on last evening’s Limited. Mr. L. Quinn, of Fuller-Hayward Theatres, returned to Auckland yesterday after a tour of his firm’s theatres throughout New Zealand. Mr. H. L. Dolamore. of Dunedin, general manager of the New Zealand Paper Mills, arrived in Auckland this morning. Ho is staying at the Grand Hotel. Mr. W. Goodfellow. managing director of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, returned to Auckland last evening after paying a visit to Hamilton. Mr. W. J. Holdsworth, chairman of the Auckland Electric-Power Board, with two members, Mr. E. IT. Potter and Mr. J. Dempsey, the general manager, Mr. R. H. Bartley, and tho secretary. Mr. N. M.
