TAMAKI ORPHANS

ENJOYABLE SESSION An enjoyable time was spent last evening at the Masonic Hall, St. Heliers, when the Tamaki Orphans’ Club held its sixth sessional meeting. The programme arranged was of a high standard and pleasingly varied. Brother L. J. Keys was the chairman for the evening and, under his able guidance, song and story passed away a very pleasant evening. Songs were given by Messrs. T. Moffit, A. H. Turner, W. Todd, R. Wilson and F. Ryan. Humorous items were contributed by Bro. Scott, of the Otahuhu Orphans’ Club, monologues by Bro. IT. Andrews, and cornet solos by Mr. Jury. Community singing conducted by Bro. A. H. Turner, with Bro. Naive as accompanist, was much appreciated by the members. Brother Ivan Lambert was the accompanist.
