Schmidt Studios Photo. THE REV. W. E. GILLAM (left), formerly vicar of St. Matthew's, died yesterday, aged 74. Mr. S. J. Ambury, whose death also occurred yesterday, was 78. He was chairman of directors of the firm which bears his name and was one of the pioneers of butter exporting from New Zealand.
