The Motor Vehicles Insur- | ance Act requires the j owner of a motor vehicle insured as provided for in this Act to notify the insurance company concerned of the change of ownership within seven days of the sale. This duty, as well as that of notifying the Registrar of Motor Vehicles, will in many instances be undertaken by the motor trade, but the onus is on the seller.
