KING STILL PROGRESSING

DOCTORS SET EXAMPLE IN TEAM WORK COMPLETE RECOVERY HOPED British Official Wireless Reed. 10.35 a.m. RUGBY, Sunday. It is stated at Bucklngnam Palace that the King had a good night, and that his progress is still satisfactory. The doctors paid him their usual morning visit. Lord Dawson of Penn, the King’s ph/sician, speaking at a prize-giving at Giggleswick School yesterday, referred to the King’s illness, and said the medical service rendered his Majesty was an example of carefullyselected team work in tackling the problem. His Majesty in effect received as good treatment as he would have had as a patient in a hospital. Three doctors were accustomed to work in teams, and people outside left them to do their job. He added: “The same was true in the case of the King, with the result you know, and I think there is more hope every day that his Majesty’s recovery will be complete.”
