With four units in production, the two sound stages and the portable recording equipment at the Hal Roach Studios in Culver City are in use both day and night. Each unit has finished the first two comedies and is working on the third picture on its rush schedule, for realise by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. In addition to the activities of the comedy production units, the Victor Talking Machine Co., with which organisation Mr. Roach has a five year contract, is making Victor musical records on the Roach sound recording
