Another fine organ recital by the Auckland municipal organist, Mr. Maughan Barnett, was given in the Town llall last evening. Mr. Barnett played Coleridge-Taylor’s Impromptu in A minor, and Bach's “Two Chorale Preludes.” Other items were “Three Movements from the Fourth Symphony” (Widor), “To Be Sung on the Waters” and March in D (Schubert). “St. Francis Preaching to the Birds” (Liszt) and “Finale” (Wolstenholme).

Lionel Barrymore and John Gilbert is the impressive director-star combination selected by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer for the production of “Olympia” as an all-talking picture.
