CAVITY NOW MAY HEAL GRADUALLY OPERATION SATISFACTORY (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) (United Service) LONDON, Friday. An official statement says his Majesty passed a good night. His progress continues satisfactory. The British Medical Journal says the King stood the operation very well. Both the general and the local conditions are satisfactory, and the immediate result of the operation is regarded as having fulfilled all its expectations. It may be hoped that the cavity w r ill now gradually heal from the bottom.
PRINCE GEORGE TO DIET
INDIGESTION TROUBLE THE CAUSE (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) (United Service) LONDON, Friday. Prince George, who is suffering from indigestion, is abandoning his Foreign Office duties and public engagements, in order to undergo dieting treatment. A message says the Duke of Gloucester, speaking at the Kent Agricultural Show today, ap logised for the absence of his brother, Prince George, who, he said, was indisposed and might have to undergo a cure which would take a short while. Prince George, who is the King’s fourth son, served for some years in the Navy, and a few months ago took up duties in the Western department of the Foreign Office.
