Coolidge, writing in an American magazine, intimates that the intimidation of the United States Congress by minority organisations with power and influence is gradually forcing the President or the United States to a virtual dictatorship. “Fearful of the displeasure oi‘ highlyorganised minority groups, members of Congress rei’use to stand even on the platform of their own party, and the responsibility of Government devolves wholly upon the President."
