AN EXTRA MONTH
WESTPORT MAN’S OFFENCE "We are not going to have this sort of blackguard coming up here doing what he likes," remarked Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., sentencing Archibald Chester at the Police Court this morning to a month's imprisonment for assault. Chester is at present serving a month for an assault :Lt “'cstporh Chester, aged 28, pleaded guilty on charges of being found drunk in Kauai—ngahape Road, breaking his prohibition order and assaulting Harry Foreman. He appeared for sentence. hav—ing been remanded during the week so that inquiries could be made about him. Sub-Inspector McCarthy recalled the circumstances of the assauli. which were that Chester had caused an uproar in a. restaurant and assaulted the proprietor when he was going for the police. Chester’s sentence will be served at the expiration of the present term.
