IN IVORY VELVET ; WITH TRAIL OF i _ ORANGE BLOSSOM ‘ ___. ‘ JARMAN—WHITE The marriage of Noni, eldest daughter of Mr. and Airs. S. F. \Vhite, om.huhu, and Percy, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. F. Jarmun, Penrosc-, was celebrated recently at the Church of St. Joseph and St. Joachim, Otahuhu, thg_l‘.ey. _lfathex: G. \Vrigbt‘pfilcigting.
The bride, who entered the church escorted by her father, wore a. period frock of ivory chiffon velvet, with cluster and trail of orange blossom on the shoulder. A coronut of orange blossoms, held in place the veil which was Worn over the [ace and which at the back formed a train. She carried a. bouquet of tulips, roses and muldenhair fern, finished with tulle streamers. ‘
Miss Yvonne VVhite, who attended hm: sister as bridesmaid, wore utrock of blush-pink silk jersey velour. with draped skirt caught at the sidowith a. diamente buckle. Her hat was a summer-weight felt, with stitchings of silver. Her pink bouquet was of pink tulips, r 9565 and iceland poppies.
Bliss Bernardine \Vhite, who also attended her sister, wore a frock of sunkist silk jersey velour, with long draped bodice. flared skirt and. long tight sleeves. Her felt hat had stitch—ings of gold and she carried a bouquet of yellow daffodils, roses and luchenalias.
Mr. Trevor Bickerton attended the bridegroom as best man and Mr. James McLaughlin was groomsman. The wedding march was played by Mrs. J. Gillies. A reception was held and about 90 guests were received by Mrs. \Vhite, who wore a. model frock of beige ropp with fox furs and a. beige and black hat to match. She curried u. posy of‘ autumn-tinted flowers. The bride-groom‘s mother were a navy crepe de chine frock with navy and gold hat. 1101‘ posy was of violets. _ _ _ ¥

Air. and Mrs. P. Jarman left by car for Hamilton, en route to XVellington. The bride travelled in a figured crepe do chine frock and navy face-Cloth coat, with trimmings of beaver. A close-fitting black hat completed the ensemble.

The reception was held at the home of the bride's aunt, )Irs. J. Melican. The roonl was decorated with brown and gold streamers and iceland poppies, to match the bride's and bridesmaid’s dresses.
