WATSON ENTERTAINED ENJOYABLE DANCE Miss Joan Ferrier-Watson. a Christchurch visitor to A_uckland. was entertained last eyenlng at I very charming dance given by her aunt, Mrs. L. B. Shera, of Arney Road. Golden iceland poppies and yellow daffodils, and other fragrant spring flowers, adorned the reception and supper rooms. The lounge and spacious adjoining room were utilised for dancing, A rose du barri georgette frock, richly headed in gold, was worn by 311‘s. Sin-mm“ 311's. Perrier—\Vatson was gowned in copper-toned georgette embroidered in crystal. Miss Joan Ferriei‘—“’utsoxi wore a chic frock of black taffeta, with frilled skirt of blue, defined with black. Miss Barbara Shm‘a‘s frock, with its side draperies, was of white beaded genrg‘ett.e over sulmon pink. Miss Eileen Shem chose apple-green taffeta. Delphinium blue taffeta was worn by Miss Margaret Shora. The guests included Miss .10an Kent. Bliss Marjorie Dryden. Bliss 15. 'L'pton. Miss hieu‘y \‘Vatson. Bliss Audrey Hut—chison, Miss Joan Stokes, Miss Leslie Hoberton. lVliss 'VV, Prater, Bliss D. Isaac-s, and Miss E BlcCormick.
