THE MAGNIFICENT CASCADE OF THE ZAMBEZI.—-A section of the Main Fall. The volume of water passing over these famous Victoria Falls is greatest in April, when the level of the river is some fifty feet higher than in November, the hottest and driest month. These faHs were discovered by Livingstone in 1855. They are over 350 feet deep and a mile wide.
