The Governor-General of Australia, Lord Stonehaven, took the salute. With him at the base were the Governor of New South Wales (Admiral Sir Dudley de Chair), Rear-Admiral E. R. G. R. Evans, Commodore G. T. C. P. Swabey (commanding N.Z. Naval Division) and the Rt. Hon. Stanley Bruce, Prime Minister of Australia. On the left is a marine band from the New Zealand Squadron.
