Lupe spurns her ardent but efferninate )lexiczln lover. Russell Colombo. Through a window she watches the approaching trappers. Gary particularly interests her. There is a public dance that night. Gary and Lupe meet. She sings to him; they dance: they fall in love. Her father appears and takes Lune away from Gary.
