SHORE DANCE
Devonport Footballers are Hosts LANTERNS AND BALLOONS The annual dance of the North Shore Football Club, in the Masonic Hall, Devonport, on Wednesday, was a very successful one. The hall was decorated in black and yellow Japanese lanterns and balloons, and bright music by Harry Bolton’s orchestra keyed up merriment. The club members rallied in good style in support of the function, and the floor was crowded. The committee members were:— Mrs. E. Cole, whose frock was of lilac satin of ankle length, with a silver yoke. Mrs. C. Farquharson, who wore oriental satin, diamented. Miss M. Palmer, in black satin with velvet, and flouncings of ninon. Miss V. Derham, in delphinium blue georgette and silver lace skirt. Miss C. Woods, who wore flame taffeta and gold reliefs. Miss E. Palmer, in blue satin, ankle length. Miss V. Mortimer, in a pastel and pink Victorian frock. Miss Walsh, who wore floral crepe de chine. Among the dancers were: Miss C. Palmer, who wore old gold satin and georgette, with uneven hemline. Miss X. Drummond, in crimson georgette and satin. Miss B. Walsh, who had on duchess blue satin, with shawl. Miss J. Keely, wearing a shell pink georgette frock and .shawl. Miss J. Drummond, in apricot georgette and velvet. Miss C. Stokes, in alice blue georgette and diamente. Miss Madge Edwards, who had on daffodil and lame georgette. Miss V. Bowen, wearing lace and silver tissue. Miss K. Gardner, whose frock was flame georgette. Miss M. Green, who bad on powder blue satin, with diamente trimming. Miss Phyllis Best, wearing a pink crepe de chine and tulle frock, with shoulder posy. Miss F. Davis, who was in vieux rose net and georgette, with gold embroiderMrs. E. Cole, wearing a frock of orchid georgette and silver tinsel, with shawl to tone. Miss L. Cooksey, who wore apricot taffeta and silver. Miss Harrison, whose frock was of alice blue georgette. Miss R. Blanohfield, who was in apple green satin, with flared flounces and coral pink shawl. Miss J. Langdon, wearing briar rose crepe de chine. Miss K. Johnstone, whose frock was old rose satin and gold lace. Miss C. Mariano, who had on flame crepe de chine and floral lame. Miss E>. Bell, who wore figured crepe de chine, with uneven hem. Miss L. Blockley, wearing cerise crepe de chine and silver lace. Miss Edith Bush, whose nile green crepe de chine frock was relieved with silver. Miss G. Probert, who had on a white georgette frock, with silver lace, and shawl. Miss Li. Horsley, whose frock was ivory crepe de chine. Miss Lt. Ruthven. who wore ring velvet and silver lace. Miss F. Wynne, who had on powder blue crepe de chine and coffee lace. Miss Cathy Davies, wearing shell pink crepe de chine, with gold lace, and shawl. Miss E. Ekman, who was in blue and silver lame and georgette. Miss Joan Best, wlio had on shell pink crepe de chine and satin. Miss Winnie McCluskey, wearing china blue crepe de chine and cream shawl. Miss E. King, who was in vieux rose velvet. Miss E. M. Munro, whose frock was flame taffeta and net.
