CANADIAN CONQUEROR RETURNS. —The Canadian National Steamships vessel Canadian Conqueror, which sailed for Wellington yesterday afternoon, returned to port at 6.30 o’clock in the evening on account of trouble with some of her firemen. She was anchored in the stream this morning and the men concerned appeared at the Police Court. New firemen are to be engaged, and it is hoped to dispatch the vessel this afternoon for Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin to complete discharging, her cargo from Montreal and Sydney (Nova Scotia). After unloading operations are finished the Canadian Conqueror is to start loading for New York. Boston and Montreal, and is expected to arrive back at this port to complete at the beginning of next month. She is scheduled to sail finally in the first week of August.
