BIBLE TRAINING
INSTITUTE AFFAIRS Several applications for admission aa students for the forthcoming year were dealt with at a meeting of the directors of the Bible Training Institute this week, and the following were accepted:—Misses E. Lee (Auckland). X. E. Tucker (Auckland), E. K. Templeton (Otago), L. Middleton (Auckland), Messrs. Roy Cull (Wanganui). A. V. F. Hart (Xelson), and ir Ck. Mcßae (Waimate). A number of students have expro**** their desire for a brief medical coUl%*. and a committee was set up to ** range a course for next year. The secretary reported that Mr. A. M. John ston, the institute evangelist. had conducted two very successful missions in Gisborne and Hamilton, and was about to commence in Cambridge. His time was fully engaged till the end of the year. During the month 10 new students had enrolled in the correspondence school, which was rapidly growing. Mr. A. W. Benton, graduate of 1925, sailed for South America during ihe month, and Mr. J. S. Muir, graduate of 1928, for England, where he proposes taking a medical course before proceeding t* China to work under the China Inland Mission.
