RADIO PIRACY
For operating unlicensed radio, W. Dalton and T. Callandar were each fined £1 and costs at the Police Court this morning. Callander pleaded not guilty, it being said on his behalf that he was not responsible for the operating of the set, and also that the set was not his property, being in the house on j approval. Mr. F. K.Hunt, S.M.. considered that the defendant had failed to discharge , his obligations. He was informed that j Callander now had a licence.
