HAMILTON CLUB The semi-final of the Bell Cup handicap competition of the Hamilton Golf Club was played under unfavourable weather conditions between J. L. Black and W. Gunn. In the early stages Gunn offered to forfeit the match but, playing steady golf, eventually won by 5 and 4. In the final T. Simpson defeated Gunn, 5 and 4. _

The final of the Consolation handicap will be played tomorrow between B. Wake and Horton, jun.
