MOTOR-CYCLIST KILLED
COLLISION AT CORNER Press Association PALMERSTON N.. Wed. A married man, Mr. Walter Messenger, aged 56 years, a freezing works emploj’ee, died in the Public Hospital tonight from injuries received in a motor accident. Mr. Messenger was riding a motor-cycle across the intersection of Princess and Church Streets when he collided with a car driven by Mr. H. E. Bergersen, of Palmerston North. He was thrown heavily to the ground and received severe injuries to his head. His death occurred about three and a-half hours after the accident.
