FIRE AT TE AROHA

DESTRUCTION OF HOUSE (Special to THE SUN) TE AROHA, Wednesday. A house in Whitaker Street, Morgantown, owned by Mrs. R. L. Somers, of Herriesville, and occupied by Mr. J. Cummings-, sen., was destroyed by fire about 10.30 a.m. today. Mr. Cummings is an invalid and owing to the dense smoke had difficulty in making his escape. The house was some distance from the road and the firemen were delayed in reaching the seat of the fire. The water pressure was poor and hampered the brigade.
