ST. JAMES
A SPARKLING SHOW FRANK O’BRIAN’S REVELLERS The title of Frank O’Brian’s Revellers at St. James is very fitting. “Laugh, Town, Laugh” really makes the town laugh. An exceptionally la.rge audience filled the theatre last evening, and thoroughly enjoyed the sparkling revue presented. With its bright singing, dances, etc., not a dull moment is experienced. From the rise of the curtain the show goes with a swing, and the audience showed its appreciation in no uncertain manner. Frank O’Brian and Janice Hart, the two principals, make the show, and give of their best. The jazz band, once it gets warmed up, plays as only a real good jazz band can, and makes one’s feet itch to dance. The dancing is excellent, and the f,rocking is splendid, while the setting of the stage is all that could be desired. The outstanding dances, th€ sleigh glide and the rendezvous, were gracefully done. Bert Lee, Gordon IN'orville, Marie Ward, and Mabel Morgan all take a share in the singing numbers.
