EARTHQUAKE RELIEF
MAYOR’S FUND GROWING The Mayor of Auckland’s earthquake relief fund continues to grow steadily, and there is little doubt that the £2 2,000 mark will be attained. The following additional contributions are acknowledged with thanks by Mr. Baildon:—•
OTHER FUNDS GROWING
The Poverty Bay “Herald” earthquake relief fund has passed the £I.OOO mark. Other funds in the district aggregate several hundred pounds. The Taranaki "Herald” earthquake fund now stands at £1.533. including a. Borough Council donation of £IOO and a collection at the High SchoolWanganui Technical College match, which raised £42.—P.A.
