PIN TAKEN FROM BOY’S THROAT
A successful operation for the removal of a pin lodged in a boy’s throat was performed at the Auckland Hospital yesterday. Charles George Beloe, aged five, whose parents live at Pukekohe West, was admitted on Tuesday after swallowing a pin, which stuck in his throat. By means of a special instrument it was removed, and the child’s condition is now satisfactory.
