MAYOR OF AUCKLAND’S FUND OVER £II,OOO IN HAND With contributions received late yesterday afternoon and this morning, the Mayor of Auckland’s Earthquake Relief Fund has now passed the £II,OOO mark. It was stated yesterday that the Savings Bank’s donation of £SOO was the largest individual sum received, but the Harbour Board had, a week previously, given a similar amount. The Invercargill Savings Bank has donated £2OO to the earthquake fund, which now totals about £2,00u.
