KING ON THE MEND
SATISFACTORY PROGRESS CONTINUES LATEST BULLETINS (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) (United Service) Reed. 11 a.m. LONDON. Tuesday. An official bulletin issued this morning at Buckingham Palace says his Majesty passed a good night. Both his general health and the local condition of the wound are satisfactory. In court circles, the bulletin on the King’s health is regarded with considerable satisfaction, indicating as it does that the King’s general health has not suffered in any way from the effects of the operation. The Duke of Connaught this afternoon said the Royal Family were very satisfied with his Majesty’s progress. Sir Stanley Hewett, Sir Hugh Rigby, Sir Wilfred Trotter and Lord Dawson conferred for an hour at the Palace. It is understood that they are quite satisfied with the King’s progress. The Prince of Wales remained in the Palace until the consultation was over. An official bulletin says the King passed a good day, and continued to progress satisfactorily.
