Later the vessel proceeds to Westport for bunkHAURAKI CLEARS LOS ANGELES.— The local office of the Union Company has been advised by cable that the trans-Pacific motor-ship Hauraki left Los Angeles at 4 a.m. last Monday with Pacific Coast cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney. She is expected to | arrive here on August 3. MAHIA IN PORT.— The Shaw', .Savill and Albion Company's steamer ’ Mahia arrived at Auckland this morning from Gisborne and berthed at the Queen’s Wharf to complete her loading under the agency of A. S. Paterson and Company. It is hoped to dispatch the vessel from Auckland at daylight on Saturday for New York, Boston and London, via Panama. NIAGARA SAILS. —In continuation of her voyage from Vancouver, the Union Company’s R.M.S. Niagara left Auckland at 10.30 p.m. yesterday for Sydney. FROM ’FRISCO. —Advice has been received by the local office of the Union Company that the R.M S Maunganui left San Francisco at 2 p.m last Wednesday, via ports, for Wellington and Sydney. She is due at Wellington on July 29, and at Sydney on August SYDNEY STEAMERS— The Marama leaves Auckland at 3 p.m. on Friday for Sydney and the Maheno from Wellington at . noon the same day. The uamaroa sails from Sydney at noon on Friday for Wellington. All the three vessels are due at their arrival ports next Tuesday morning. CERASUS DISCHARGING. —To complete her discharge of phosphates from Juan de Nova, the steamer Cerasus arrived at Auckland yesterday afternoon : ro { n^, yttelton ’ and berthed at the Central Wharf. Later the vessel docks at Auckland for cleaning and painting before proceeding early next week to Westport for bunkers. A. S. Paterson and Company are the local agents. MAUI POMARE’S ITINERARY. —The Government motor-ship Maui Pomare is due at Dunedin on Monday from Apia and Xiue Island. She later proceeds to Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland, where she is due on July 28. From Auckland she is to be dispatched for Xorfolk Island on July 29. The vessel is scheduled to return to Auckland on August 5. and is to sail for Apia and Xiue Island on August 13. lONIC TO LOAD. —The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company advises that its liner lonic will leave Wellington next Saturday morning for Port Chalmers, where she will commence loading. The vessel is to load also at Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington. She is due back at Wellington on July 30, and will sail finahy from that port at daybreak on August 2 for Southampton and London, via Panama. HURUNUI’S MOVEMENTS— The Xew Zealand Shipping Company reports that the Hurunui left Xew Plymouth yesterday afternoon to load at Lyttelton and Wellington. The vessel is due at Wellington next Tuesday and will proceed from there to Xapier, Gisborne and Auckland to fill up. She is timed to sail finally from Auckland on August 6 for Xew York, Boston and London, via Panama and Xewport Xews. PORT GISBORNE SAILING. —The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company hopes to dispatch the C. and D. lane's motor-ship Port Gisborne from Auckland at 5 p.m. tomorrow for Wellington, thence Lyttelton and Dunedin, to complete her discharge of New York cargo. Later the vessel loads at Port Chalmers, thence Bluff, Lyttelton, Xew Plymouth, Wanganui, Wellington, Xapier, Gisborne and Auckland. She returns here on August 23 and is scheduled to clear this port finally the following day for Xew York, Boston and London, via Panama. CANADIAN CONQUEROR SAILING— The Canadian Xational Steamships' vessel Canadian Conqueror, at present discharging cargo from Montreal and Sydney (Nova Scotia) at Prince’s Wharf, is to sail this evening for Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin to complete unloading. Xo definite sailing time has yet been announced. After discharging operations have been finished the Canadian Conqueror is to start loading for Xew York, Boston and Montreal, and is scheduled to sail from Auckland for those .ports at the end of July. NORTHUMBERLAND DUE TONIGHT —Radio advice received by the local office of the Xew Zealand Shipping Company states that the Federal steamer Northumberland is expected to arrive in the stream at Auckland at midnight tonight from Liverpool. The vessel, which is bringing cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Port Chalmers and Xew Plymouth, will berth at the Prince’s Wharf tomorrow morning to land the local portion of her cargo. The vessel is scheduled to commence loading at Xew Plymouth on August 19 for London, Avonmouth. Glasgow and Liverpool, and will load also at Port Chalmers, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Xapier and Auckland. She is scheduled to sail finally from Auckland on September 12. ANGLO-INDIAN WITH SULPHUR.— With a cargo of sulphur from Galveston, Texas, the Nitrate Producers’ Steam Ship Company’s Anglo-Indian reached Auckland at 7.20 o’clock 3'esterday evening and berthed at King's Wharf at 7 a.m. today. The vessel cleared Galveston on .Tune 9, the Panama Canal on June 16, and then made a direct passage to Auckland. The weather was moderate throughout and the trip was uneventful. Captain M. Ford commands the AngloIndian and with him are the following officers; Chief officer, Mr. G. Nichol: 2nd. Mi-. E. J. Featlit#: 3rd, Mr. L. Mott; chief engineer, Mr. J. Shaw; 2nd, Mr. J. Huntress; 3rd, Mr. S. Overton; 4th Mr. ,T. Lewis; wireless operator, Mr. T. Keech; chief steward, Mr. T. L. Elsy. Messrs. R. Millar and Co. are the local agents for the Anglo-Indian, and they expect to dispatch her on Friday afternoon for Australian ports to complete discharging.

TAHITI LEAVES WELLINGTON. —In continuation of her voyage from Sydney, the Union Company's R.M.S. Tahiti left Wellington at 6.15 p.m. yesterday for Rarotonga, Papeete and San Francisco. PORT VICTOR AT LONDON. —The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Victor is reported to have reached London on Monday from Xew Zealand. The vessel left Wellington on June 1, via Montevideo and Rio de Janiero. HERTFORD LEAVES PANAMA. —The Xew Zealand Shipping Company has been notified by -cable that the Federal steamer Hertford arrived at Panama last Wednesday from Liverpool .and sailed again on Friday for Auckland. Xapier, Wellington and Southern ports. She is due at Auckland about July 31. REMUERA CLEARS CURACAO.—Advice by cable has been received by the Xew Zealand Shipping Co. that its liner Remuera arrived at Panama on Friday from Wellington, and left Curacao on July 15, en route to Southampton and London. The vessel sailed from Wellington on June 22. KENT FURTHER POSTPONED.— The departure of the Federal steamer Kent from Auckland for London and West Coast ports of England has been postponed until Friday. The vessel is at present completing her loading at the Queen's Wharf under the agency of the Xew Zealand Shipping Company-. CAMBRIDGE LEAVES NEW YORK.— The Xew Zealand Shipping Company- has been notified by cable that the Federal steamer Cambridge left Xew York on Friday for Boston, Halifax and West Coast of Great Britain, en route from Auckland. The vessel sailed from Auckland on June 7. PORT NICHOLSON LEAVES MONTEVIDEO.—The C. and D. Line has been advised by cable that the Port Nicholson left Montevideo on Saturday for Southampton and London, en route from Wellington. The vessel sailed from Wellington on June 20 and is due at Southampton on August 2. TAINUI LEAVES HOME. —Cabled news has been received by the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company that its liner Tainui, after loading at London, left Southampton last Friday afternoon for Wellington, where she will land passengers only. The vessel will discharge her cargo at Lyttelton, Port Chalmers and Timaru. She is due at. Wellington on August 18. SCHOONERS FROM AUSTRALIA.— The Nobel auxiliary schooner Piri, which has been loading explosives at Melbourne, is expected to leave on Friday for Greymouth, Westport and Auckland. The auxiliary schooner Huia was scheduled to leave Grafton, Australia. yesterday for Auckland with a cargo of Australian hardwood. The vessel is due here about July 24.
