DRAMATIC COMPANIES
NORTH SHORE ACTIVITY Amateur dramatic companies are having something of a boom at the North Shore. Besides the Devonport Amateur Dramatic Society there are the Ngataringa Comedy Players, who. after a busy season recently with a programme of four comedies, are now at work rehearsing another bunch of amusing items, under the direction of Captain Redmond. Takapuna. likewise, has two companies of enthusiasts who are producing entertainment for charities. They are directed by Mrs. Scales and Mrs. Kindred.
