KING COUNTRY RELIEF WORKS

MANY MEN FROM AUCKLAND (From Our Own Correspondent) TAUMARUNUI, Tuesday. This morning a party of 50 unemployed workers from Auckland arrived in Taumarunui, and was later conveyed to Ohura, where it will be placed by the Public Works Department. It is stated that a further 50 will be sent down next week, under relief work agreement. The men are being used for roading duties in the backblocks.
