FAREWELL TO BANK MANAGER

PRESENTATIONS AT OPOTIKI At a farewell function held at Opotiki on Friday, Mr. and Mrs. YY. A. Todd were presented with a silver tea and coffee service, suitably inscribed, by Mr. G. S. Moody, Mayor, on behalf of the citizens of Opotiki. Mr. Todd was also presented with a travelling rug and a china cup, from the Opotiki Bowling Club. The cup was a replica of the Francis Cup, and was presented by Mr. J. Main. Several businessmen spoke of the high esteem in which Mr. and Mrs. Todd were held by Opotiki residents, and expressed regret at their departure. Air. Todd, who is manager of the Bank of New Zealand at Opotiki, has been transferred to Masterton.
