ACCORDING to Damn Rumour, . ' one or two prominent Auckland jockeys are not going to receive their riding briefs for the new season. However, the horsemen concerned may now rest easy, for the following message from THE SUN'S Wellington correspondent gives some reassurance: “Regarding racing licences for persons in the Auckland district, it is understood here that all trainers, with the exception of one in the Waikato, have been rclicenced. and that all jockeys have been relieensed. “One well-known rider, who has not had a licence of late, was again refused.”
