LIMITED LATE AGAIN

/ SLIP NEAR TE KUITI A slip on the Main Trunk line delayed the northbound Limited this morning, and she did not reach Auckland until shortly after XI o’clock. A quantity of rock and debris crashed on to the line between Kopaki and Puketutu, near Te Kuiti, just before the Limited was due to arrive there.

The train was held up for over an hour and a-half while a gang of workmen. i ho had been brought from Te Kuiti. cleared the line. No other trains ware held up and no damage was done to the permanent way.
