AIRMAN INCINERATED

PETROL TANK EXPLODES AFTER CRASH COMPANION IN HOSPITAL (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. 9 a.m. LISBON, Monday. When the Polish machine, with which an Atlantic flight was being attempted, crashed at Graciosa, the tank exploded. M. Idzikowski was incinerated. The wreckage and the body are being shipped to Warsaw. M. Kubala was badly burned, and is in hospital.
