AUCKLAND ORPHANS
FORTNIGHTLY MEETING The fortnightly meeting of the Auckland Orphans’ Club was held in Scots Hall, Symonds Street, on Saturday. The vice-president, Mr. E. Casey, was in the chair. During the evening the chairman read a telegram stating that at the conference of associated kindred clubs held that day in Christchurch, Mr. C. E. Jones, of the Christchurch Savage Club, had been elected president in place of Mr. J. D. Crawford, of the Auckland Orphans’ Club, who had retired.
