ORANGE PROCESSION

ANNIVERSARY OF BATTLE OF THE BOYNE Over 250 members of the No. 2 District Grand Lodge of the Loyal Orange Institution marched in procession from the Orange Hall. Newton, yesterdayafternoon down Symonds Street and Karangahape Road to Pitt Street. The occasion was the celebration of the anniversary of the Battle of the Boyne. The procession was led by the stalwarts of the Auckland Pipe Band, followed by the lodge banner and the chief officers ’pf the institution, including the District Grand Master, Brother J. H. Ward, the District Grand Secretary, Air. A. S. Galbraith, and the District Grand Treasurer, Air. S. A. Burt. The procession terminated at the Pitt Street Alethodist Church, where a service was conducted by the Rev. A. A. Alurray, of the United Evangelical Church, assisted by the Rev. W. Gilmour, 8.A., of the Edendale Presbyterian Church, and the Rev. W. Walker, of the Pitt Street Methodist Church, and the Rev. W. Hayward, lodge chaplain. After the service the lodge members marched back to the Orange Hall. In the evening they attended a service at the Knox Presbyterian Church. Parnell, where the Rev*. A. Alacdonald Aspland was the preacher.
