NECK DISLOCATED

FOOTBALLER INJURED While playing Rugby on Saturday, Mr. L. Mclnnes, a single man. aged 25, had his neck severely dislocated, and had to be taken to hospital by the St. John Ambulance. He was playing for the Ponsonby second grade A team against tlie Manukau Union representatives at Papakura when the accident occurred. Last evening his condition was serious, but this morning he is reported to have improved. Mr. Mclnnes lives at 250 Jervois Road, Herne Bay.
