RAIN PREVENTS MATCHES ON DOMAIN
"DECAUSE of the heavy rain this morning, continuing this afternoon, and the consequent bad state of the grounds, all matches scheduled to take place on the Domain today have been declared “off” by the caretaker. As far as is known, all other Rugby, League and Soccer games are being played. The bowling match at Ponsonby for the Edwin Stars has been postponed.
