CLOSES DEFINITELY AUGUST 1 Entrants for the Colonial Ammunition Company’s Amateur shooting Photograph Contest are reminded that 1 entries close definitely on August 1. There are 38 cash prizes of a total lvalue of £SO. First prize, £2O. Entries should be sent in immediately to facilitate judging. _ - , _ _ Large numbers of entries have been arriving daily. C.A.C. says that some splendid Shooting Photographs have been entered and X.Z. sportsmen seem to be as keen and proficient with the camera as they are with the gun. This contest has proved of particular interest because of the enthusiasm with which it has been supported by sportsmen throughout the Dominion. Most of the photographs have been ! accompanied by letters of praise for ! the excellent quality and long-range ! killing capacity of C.A.C. cartridges. s*o in both gun clubs and in the snootj ing field C.A.C. popularity continues, and increases. The prizes in this contest are substantial. so naturally a large number of entries was expected. These expectations have been fulfilled. The prizes are divided as follow: First prize, £2O; second prize, £Q: third prize. £2 10s; £lO divided ir. • ; 10 prizes o/ £ 1 each; £l2 10s divided j into 25 prizes of 10s each; making the j total prize money £SO.
