. FRANK HURLEY TO TAKE MOVING PICTURES AIRPLANES WILL BE USED MELBOURNE, Thursday. The members of the Mawson expedition to the Antarctic, whose names were announced yesterday, must be ready to sail from Australia by the Nestor on September 18. Two Moth airplanes will be taken on board the Discovery for short-range flying. Captain Frank Hurley’s moving pictures are expected to be of great value. He will accompany the scientists in all their work. A member of the scientific staff will send frequent messages to the Press of the movements and activities of the expe- , dition.
