STEEPLECHASING AT TRENTHAM—CIearing a fence in the Second Hack Steeplechase at Trentham yesterday day. The race was won by Alaric from the favourite Royal Elm. Boomerday was third. Three horses fell in this race and one, Koauau, had to be destroyed.
