ST. JAMES THEATRE

CHANGE OF PROGRAMME A complete change of programme will be staged by Frank O’Brian and his talented company at St. James Theatre and the new show is stated to be the equal if not better than the previous excellent entertainments this company has offered in the few weeks. Frank O’Brian has proved himself to be one of the best comedians to visit Auckland either in revues or musical comedies, and his popularity is increasing week by week. In Janice Hart the company possesses a versatile performer, who in addition to singing pleasantly in solos and in duets with Frank O’Brian, trips neat solo measures and also appears with the fine ballet. This ballet, composed of eight girls, is the best group of dancers to be seen in action in the city for many a long day. Other members of the company are also good and the jazz band, led by “Tiny” Douglas, plays excellent numbers.
