WILLIAM HEUGHAN
TOWN HALL THIS EVENING In the usual brilliant and diversified manner, Heughan the incomparable actor-singer and his associate artists, Maud Bell, ’cellist, and Gladys Sayer, pianist, will give the first of the four recitals of their return visit to Auckland in the Town Hall this evening. This talented trio of celebrated artists, fresh from extraordinary triumphs in the Orient and Australia, will give a programme which will be of much interest to all music-lovers. Their programme is unusual, of good subject matter, well sung, and charming. The box plan is at Lewis Eady’s. Concerts will also be given on Friday, Saturday and Monday evenings. The second Charles Rogers’ talking picture for Paramount, previously titled "Magnolia,” has been retitled “A Man Must Fight.” It is adapted from Booth Tarkington’s well-known story of the Southern States of America. Mary Brian has the feminine lead.
