HOWICK CROQUET CLUB

annual meeting held At the annual meeting of the Ilowick Croquet Club, the report stated that the past season had been a very successful one in every way. It was arranged to enter teams in the inter-club matches. Several new members were enrolled. The following officers were elected: Patroness, Mrs. F. E. Allen; president, Mrs. H. P. Johnson; vice-presidents, Mrs. K. Jameson and Miss E. M. Nixon; secretary and treasurer, Miss P. Lt. Armitage. Prizes presented by Mrs. F. E. Allen, Mrs. F. Alexander, Mrs. R. Sutherland and Miss E. -M. Nixon were won by the following players;—Mrs. A. Wyatt, Mrs. A. May, Mrs. J. Roberts, Mrs. k! Tovey, Mrs. F. Roberts, Mrs. C. Grierson, Miss E. M. Nixon and Miss A. Petrie. The winner of the champion singles was Mrs. J. Roberts, and the doubles Mrs. H. P. Johnson and Mrs. P. E. Armitage.
