SCORELESS DRAW

GOVERNMENT OFFICERS PLAY RUGBY Like the All Blacks when they played their first game in Australia, in at least one respect, teams from the Justice Bepartment and the Law Courts building, which met in a friendly Rugby match on Victoria Park yesterday, finished with no score on either side. The result is held to be a fair indication of the play, although the Justice Department had the best of the game territorially, and its pack held the advantage in a game which was necessarily a forward struggle on account of a wet ground and a greasy ball. Barrett, Justice five-eighths, was the best back on the ground, and Boswell was the Law Court’s star. Leaders of the Courts pack were Hahn and MacFarlane. Mr. Reg. Malloy was referee.
