NAVAL DISARMAMENT
MACDONALD VISITS U.S. IN SEPTEMBER (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) (United Service) TORONTO, Tuesday. On the return from the Labour Congress at Geneva of Mr. James Simpson, vice-president of the Canadian Trades and Labour Congress, he stated that he had interviewed the British Prime Minister, Mr. MacDonald, in London. The latter said he expected to visit the United States and Canada in September to hold separate conferences with Mr. Hoover and Mr. W. L. Mackenzie King on naval disarmament.
